Freightview Carrier

Written by Freightview | Oct 1, 2024 8:53:07 PM

This free carrier dashboard allows partners to bid on and manage their shipper's Spot/Truckload freight within Freightview. Our latest enhancements make working with our shippers fast and simple.

To AccessAsk your shipper to add your email to their carrier list, instructions can be found Here.  From there you'll receive a link to register on our Carrier Portal and be able to interact with any bids they send out.  (They manage this and their entire carrier network directly and externally)

What Can Carriers Do In The Portal?

  • Bid on quotes.
  • View Target Rates & Expiration dates.
  • Decline a shipment.
  • Message directly with your shipper.
  • Update tracking, rate cons, trailer, and seal #s.
  • Manage, and filter active shipments for multiple customers.
  • Uploads docs, pdfs.

Here's a quick walk-through of the Dashboard

Opportunities: Each time a quote is requested, you'll receive an email - example below.  Click the link within the email to enter a rate, quote #, or additional messaging as needed.  (Not available for pricing? Select Decline).

Currently Quoting: Once you've submitted a rate, the Opportunity will be moved under Currently Quoting. Remember to save time by messaging your customer directly in the slider!

Shipments Won: After the shipper reviews their rate options, they'll Award the shipment to a carrier.  Two scenarios can happen from here.

  • If a load is canceled or awarded to another carrier, this will appear:
  • If the load was awarded to you, we'll ask you to confirm/accept the load.

Active Shipments: Congrats on winning freight!  From here you can view & manage any load throughout its life cycle.  Update tracking, upload docs, edit rate cons, and more!

Itemized charges: We've added the ability to itemize & edit rates throughout the shipments life cycle.  Partners can list out charges by line haul, fuel, or of our other 100+ accessorial options - followed by the ability to adjust the pricing after a shipment has been delivered.    Anytime active or delivered shipments have their rates adjusted, we will notify your shipper in-app accordingly.

PaymentContact your shipper to set up the payment process that works best.  Whether it's uploading invoices into Freightview, or sending them to their AP contact to process.  (Each shipper pays Freightview a monthly subscription fee for access to the software, all freight payments/discrepancies stay between the customer and the carrier).
