One of the biggest benefits of using Freightview is the fact we pre-pro your shipments. This allows for the ability to get live tracking updates in Freightview.
When booking with R+L freight direct, the PRO number you'd sticker would start with a terminal-based code, as they currently don't have Universal PROs available.
To bypass this restriction for TMS partners, R+L sends us back a Web PRO from the dispatch API, which starts with two letters, the example here is “WP”.
This WebPRO is then automatically added to the Shipment details page, FV BOL, Carrier BOL, and Labels along with barcodes.
How To Scan a WebPRO
The driver will need to have a local PRO sticker ready. First, they scan the WebPRO, then their Local PRO. Their system is set up to automatically 'Marry' the two PROs together. This links all activities and activates API tracking within Freightview!

There may be a learning curve with your drivers. While they do need to add an additional pro sticker it is important to ensure they don’t put that pro sticker over the existing pro.
