With Freightview’s new Notifications Center, your team can check on shipment activity such as missed pickups, booking errors, tender rejections, vendor-created shipments, tracking milestone changes, and exports.

Types of Notifications

 

  • Missed Pickups – Flagged nightly if a shipment with a tracking number still hasn’t been picked up from the day before. Opened to the user who booked it, or the whole account depending on user settings.

  • Booking Errors – Immediate notice when a booking fails. Opened to the user who attempted the booking.

  • Carrier Tender Rejections – Alert when a carrier rejects an awarded or confirmed load. 

  • Vendor Created Shipments – Notifies the team when a vendor creates a shipment.

  • Vendor Booked Shipments – Lets you know when a vendor books a shipment. 

  • Tracking Milestone Changes – Updates when a shipment moves from one status to another (Pending → picked up, or picked up → out for delivery). 

  • Exports – Confirms when an export is completed or scheduled report is delivered.

 

Workflow

Click on a notification to open a slider where you can also view more details, pin the load to the top of your list, or archive it for future reference.

Types

Managing Notifications

  • The blue dot indicates an Unread notification.
  • Unless pinned, notifications will only be visible for 30 days.
  • Ask an Admin to check your User Settings to confirm permission level/access.
