Message Center

No more digging through emails chasing down updates, our Message Center brings all your spot quote responses into one place. Quickly see what’s new, what’s waiting, and what needs attention so you can spend less time tracking and more time moving freight.

The Message icon can be clicked from any page in the app

How it works

• The Message icon turns green and toggles to alert you of unread correspondence.
• The number next to the icon shows your total unread messages.
• Click to open the slider and manage messages.
• Anyone with Quote and/or Book access can view Messages. (Vendors cannot)
• Marking messages as Read or Unread applies to all users.
• Archiving is unique to the user log in, will not apply to all users.
• Messages stay in the Message Center for 30 days, then are only available within the load itself.

What messages will you see

Messages come directly from your carriers. They can include a new spot quote price, an update or question about a load, or a notice that a carrier has declined or withdrawn from a quote request.  

How to respond

Click on a spot quote thread. From there, you can reply directly in the text field in the middle column
or jump straight to the shipment in your In Process or Shipments list by selecting --> Go to this quote or shipment.

• In Process, select the blinking message icon in the slider.

• Shipment Details, select  Messages / Notes / Tags to open the slider.

Filters & Search 

Finding messages is simple. Use the carrier drop-down to filter accordlingly, or choose from the default options: All, Receiving quotes, Awarded / confirmed / shipped, Unread only, or Include archived. Want something specific? Just type into the search bar to look for messages by carrier name, email address, or details like a reference or pickup number.
