Freightview is made up of a small team, and our user base has grown so much it seemed time to make sure more staff introductions. Today you’ll more about Sam. She’s been with Freightview for almost four and half years and started on our support team and transitioned to a role in marketing.
What does your job entail?
My official role here at Freightview is Marketing Manager, but I did start off on our support team here and I jump in from time to time to help with that. I spend a lot of time creating content for Freightview. Blogs, social media posts, emails for subscribers as well as for potential clients, as well as organizing webinars.
What is your favorite Freightview memory?
I’ve been with Freightview for over four years now so I have so many to pick from. One year we went Axe Throwing as a team and it was a lot of fun. I am not the most athletic or coordinated person, so I didn’t expect to be very good at it, but I had a blast competing with my coworkers and just getting to hang out and cheer each other on as well.
What do you love most about your job?
I genuinely think every single person I work with is so smart. I haven’t always felt that way in every job I’ve ever worked. Being surrounded by innovative, creative, and smart people really makes a difference in the day-to-day and the direction of the product and the company overall. We all are really passionate about the success of Freightview and our users and I think that shows.
In your opinion, what is the coolest thing that Freightview has rolled out?
I have seen so many cool things and improvements take place since I’ve been at Freightview but the addition of our parcel functionality is really cool. We added a whole new mode to Freightview and I know so much time and effort went into making that happen.
Behind Freightview is a group of tight-knit colleagues who work hard to make Freightview the best it can be for you.
